Last weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting up with Ericka for a mentoring session! Ericka saw one of my posts about mentoring through my Instagram feed, and immediately contacted me because she just received a new DSLR camera for her recent graduation!
Like all mentoring sessions, Ericka received an hour of time dedicated to Q + A, another hour of shooting/hands-on camera mentoring, as well as a few new headshots! Her session was customized more towards learning more about her camera, so we talked all about Manual mode (ISO, Shutter Speed, Aperature, etc., then explored some cool things in Lightroom!
Ericka was SO sweet and I loved working with her Sunday afternoon. As we were chatting before her session, we realized her husband used to work with my dad–what a small world!! I can’t wait to see her use her manual setting on her new camera to photograph her husband’s races and her son’s sports!! I’m sure she’ll have a nice sunset photo on her wall soon, too! (She had some beautiful ones on her memory card!!!)
Special thank you to Monica for modeling for us!! She’s recently engaged and planning her wedding!! YAY!
